Quick Office Premium V5 S60v3 for free!!!

This forum explains in detail about how to install the Quick Office premuim version [yes!! without paying for it, no crack, no patch, but most effective, have tried myself!!]


This procedure works perfect especially on Nokia N73, N82, N95 & N95 8GB and was tested positive.

Following are the steps to install:

1. Download and extract the attached "Tools.rar" file. In it you will find three files. "Install s_60_3_0_.....sis" if you have s60v3 phones [eg. N73] or "s_60_3_1_.....sis", if you s60v3 feature pack 1 phone [eg. N82]

2.Goto the app named "TRK" on your phone and click option>connect. It would be better if you connect via USB [you can change that in the settings]

3.Open "SecMan" in the "Tools.rar" and install it fromt the computer itself. Remember that you should keep the app "TRK" open while installing. When asking for the port, choose "Find Metro TRK port automatically".

4. After installing, open "QuickOffice" and goto "Quickmanager" tab and select "Updates and upgrades", connect to the internet, and it will display the cost of the premuim version. [something around 44 euros]. Click "Purchase". Download the update fully. When the download is complete DO NOT PRESS "CONTINUE"!!!

5. Open "SecMan" and goto "Options>Turn plat. Security Off".

6. Open any file manager [preferrably Xplore from LCG] and goto C:\PRIVATE\200002c0. There you will find "install.zip"
Copy this zip file to E:\Quickoffice. If the folder doesn't exist, create one yourself.

7. Extract the contents of the zip either by Xplore, I better recommend using computer for extracting the zip file, bcoz for me extracting this file using Xplore became unstable.

8. You will find three files and a folder :
i. data.xml
ii. key
iii. manifest.xml
iv. /usr

Copy the files "data.xml" and "key" in C:\System\DATA\Quickoffice\license_install\W910003
[Note the the file location should be created same exactly word by word!!!]

9. In "/usr" you will find "local>catalog>v5>QuickofficePU_QO_5.0.32_AM_S603.0.sis"
Install this file.
Leave the "manifest.xml" as it is. There is no use of that file in this procedure.

10. IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!! DON'T OPEN THE PROGRAM AFTER INSTALLING! RESTART THE DEVICE USING XPLORE OR MANUALLY.

YOU WILL FIND THE PROGRAM WORKING MAGNIFICENT.

Hi!
I'm having problems with installing the .sisx-app(s). There is just an error-message in the phone saying "Can't install. The program is integrated" (translated from Swedish) and I can't find the program in the Program List.. "/

TRK Port not found!!!!????

i tried on my nokia n95 8gb. Loaded the TRK file and connected it. But when trying to load the SECMAN file, it says TRK Port not found. Any Help???

It's working mind blowing,
i use true explorer for coping and pasting.
its a really better application for exploring and easily available on getjar.com and mobango.com

Can't find folder

Hello!

For some reason whatever I do, I cannot find the folder called C:\PRIVATE\200002c0, I do see the folder C:\PRIVATE but nothing in it at all.

Any ideas.

I have just found it via my computer - just extracted the zip file on the computer and copied again on the device.

with respect to isalwindows, i'm gonna try to make things a bit clearer to those less familiar with the whole process. i myself completed the update without a hitch. then again, everybody's different. where it's marked with an ellipsis (...), just follow isalwindows' instructions to the letter.

the extra steps:

>>> make sure you're logged in to imserbia. otherwise you won't see the attachment in this article. make sure your phone is a nokia and its operating system is s60 3rd edition version 9.0/9.1/9.2. check your phone against the list here. in this page choose to Show: S60 3rd Edition/All regions/Nokia. if your phone isn't there, then there's no point in continuing. if it is, click on your phone. then click on the Technical specifications tab. see under Specifications. check your phone's Software platform. if it says S60 3rd Edition (with or without Feature Pack 1) based on Symbian OS v9.0/9.1/9.2 then you're good to go. go to step 1 now.

if it says Feature Pack 2 based on Symbian OS v9.3, then sorry, you're on your own. as of now, there is no TRK for FP2. you could always try the one for FP1, but it's entirely at your own risk. don't try and blame it on me or the TS.

also look here for more info on your phone's operating system.

>>> make sure your phone is connected to your computer (via usb cable or bluetooth) using nokia pc suite. pc suite is in the cd that came with your phone when you bought it. install the TRK from Tools.rar that suits your phone.

>>> press the menu button (this way it allows you to run other apps without closing quickoffice). locate the SecMan app you installed in step 4 on you phone and run it.

My phone, according to "the extra steps", will be compatible... Only problem: I cannot complete step 4 beacause I don't have quickoffice... Any suggestions? I tried to download a quickoffice for the N80 (I have the N81), but it doesn't has a quickmanager...

Do you maybe have any names of good file managers? (not nokia's built in file manager)

download the attachment first!

TRK is in there and is used to install SecMan, which is also in there.

so, again, download Tools.rar then follow the steps exactly.

in indonesian: donlod dulu Tools.rar, install TRK yang sesuai buat hape lo, baru nanya..

i think somewhere i might be wrong or you could have explained better with snapshot.

i have a n81 8gb and i have a quickoffice v4 in e:\ and then when i start installing the quickoffice v5 all i got is a message, "update error".

Are you using Xplore?

If you are, then go to Menu>Tools>Configuration [0]. Turn on ALL settings (that is, put a check mark behind them) that start with the word "Show.." You should now be able to see the folder in your file manager. All other users, except those adamantly still using Nokia's built-in file manager, could try setting yours to show hidden and system files/folders.
